Now that I am back to reality, I have been working on really figuring out whether or not Twitter is worth my time or not. At Podcamp Nashville, Dave Delaney gave an inspirational presentation that left me wanting to tweet all day long. He described Twitter as really a mini blog. To me over the past few weeks it has been little more than a mini status update.
This was the case until I spoke with my good friend Joey P who writes the blog mustech.net. He explained to me that he uses Twitter not in the form I was using it, but as a blog headline (if you will). so now I am back on the bandwagon.
I have just done some digging and using twitter feed I am sending my RSS feed straight to my Twitter account. I am looking forward to seeing if this works for me.
Thanks to Joe and Dave for illuminating me on the subject.
Hola mi Amigos, I have returned. Costa Rica was a restful and wild time and I should have plenty of photos, etc... once I have a chance to go through them all. My friend Pat is now married off and all of us who attended had a blast.
Here is some video footage of one of our daily drives to give you an idea of the kind of things we were getting into down south...
I just saw the news and just had to share. Naxos (my company in case you didn't know) and the NSO slaughtered the field taking home three Grammys. Joan Tower's "Made in America" won Best Classical Album, Best Orchestral Performance, and Best Classical Contemporary Composition!
This is awesome news and the recording and composition really are fantastic. In case you haven't heard it, you can go get yourself a copy at Naxos Direct .
